From a technical perspective, one5G is optimizing end-to-end aware performance through the advanced management of radio resources and multi-link/multi-node connectivity, advanced link management based on CRAN. Performance optimization is key to successful network deployment and operation, improving performance experience for both the network operator and end-user.
In terms of 5G functionalities, this vertical experiment is testing massive Machine Type Communications (mMTC) for the IoT, requiring low power consumption and low data rates for very large numbers of connected devices; ultra-reliable low latency communications (URLLC) to cater for safety-critical and mission critical applications.
