Expert Advisory Group

The Global5G.org EAG brings together experts from across the world from vertical markets such as Heath and Automotive, leading edge technology gurus in areas such as Small Cells and dense networks, and SDO Chairs. All EAG members are directly involved in the most critical areas for the success of 5G deployment in Europe but also Japan, China, Korea, Brazil and the US.
Heading towards the deployment of 5G in Europe, the need to achieve the widest consensus on Standards is becoming more and more urgent, while addressing the whole range of Vertical Industry requirements. The EAG will help Global5G.org in shaping the global 5G PPP vision, focusing on potential future investments in 5G, roll-out to market, as well as standardisation, policy, regulatory, spectrum and legal discussions with a keen eye to Vertical Industries requirements.
The EAG members will support Global5G.org providing their insights for the development of a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) defining future R&I and standardisation priorities, with particular focus on vertical industries, and a study on Small Cells and dense cellular networks’ regulatory issues, as well as expected impact analysis in 5G.
